‘When I made the decision to establish SAMA, I envisioned a centre that would become a hub for young Muslims in our community where we can show them the beauty of Islam. Our young muslims need an education which is balanced in both Islamic studies and the National Curriculum to help create outstanding citizens and a bright future for Islam.’

Ustadh Badr has over two decades worth of experience in Islamic education and community work in the UK.

Completing his BA (Hons) in Islamic Studies and Arabic Language with SOAS University. As well as studying Islamic Shari’ah in 1998 (UAE)

Born and raised in the United Arab Emirates, he memorised the Holy Qur’an by the age of 14 and went on to study core Islamic sciences, including Uloom Al-Qur’an, Tafseer, Hadith, Aqeedah, and Fiqh under esteemed scholars. 

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Entrepreneurship from UAE University (Al Ain) and an MBA in International Business from the University of Greenwich, London. 

With over 10 years of experience in business consulting, media, public relations, education, and community development, he has worked across the UAE, Bangladesh, and the UK in both corporate and non-profit settings. He has led strategic initiatives, organisational growth, and capacity-building programmes for teams and senior leadership. 

His community work includes leading congregational prayers (Imam), delivering education and training, and designing youth and community programmes. As a Teacher and Director at SAMA, a charitable organisation focused on youth and community development, he helped strengthen team capability, enhance educational provision, and deliver workshops, residentials, employability training, and digital inclusion initiatives. 

Now based in Chelmsford, he continues to support youth and wider community empowerment through education, mentorship, and community engagement, promoting positive change by combining knowledge, leadership, spirituality, and social responsibility. He currently works as a Business Consultant, Project Manager, and Teacher, with a strong track record in improving organisational performance, strengthening operational efficiency, and supporting executive teams to deliver practical, sustainable results.

Our expert and experienced teachers go through 3 months of rigorous teachers’ training to provide practical, educational, fun, engaging and inspiring lessons. Our teachers work hard to ensure that we get to the core of your child’s needs, nurturing their growth from the second they join SAMA. Our centre managers and child development managers are in regular communication between parents, teachers, and management.
